TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. About Us

These terms and conditions apply to your use of the website www.borderbellesbonanza.co.uk and to any competitions and purchases made through the Site.

By using our Site and/or entering our competitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Competitions

2.1 We operate online prize competitions where entrants can purchase entries for a chance to win prizes such as cash, vouchers, gifts and other items (each a “Competition”).

2.2 Full details of each Competition, including the opening and closing dates, how to enter, the number and description of prizes and any specific rules, will be set out on the relevant Competition page.

2.3 In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the specific rules or details on a Competition page, the Competition page will take priority.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over only.

3.2 You must not enter any Competition if you are:

• under 18;
• a supplier or partners directly involved in that Competition.

3.3 We may ask for proof of age and identity before confirming a winner or releasing any prize.

4. How to Enter & Payment

4.1 To enter, follow the instructions on the Competition page, add your chosen Competition entries to your basket, and complete payment at checkout.

4.3 Your entry is only confirmed once we have successfully received payment and you see an order confirmation on screen and/or by email.

4.4 Entry prices are clearly shown on each Competition page and at checkout. All prices are in GBP (£) and include any applicable VAT (if relevant).

4.5 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel entries where:

• payment is not successfully processed;
• there is an obvious pricing or description error; or
• we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.

5. Closing Dates & Entry Limits

5.1 Each Competition will have an advertised closing date and/or maximum number of entries. These will be displayed on the Competition page.

5.2 We reserve the right to extend the closing date if we have not reached the minimum number of paid entries required to make the Competition viable, provided this is clearly communicated on the Competition page.

5.3 We may limit the number of entries per person to ensure fairness. Any such limit will be shown on the Competition page.

6. Choosing Winners

6.1 Winners will be selected in a fair and transparent way, for example:

• using a random number generator; or
• via a live draw (such as on social media) using randomised entry selection.

Details of how the winner will be chosen will be stated on the Competition page.

6.2 We will contact the winner using the contact details provided at checkout (usually by email and/or phone).

6.3 If the winner does not respond within 7 days of our first attempt to contact them, we reserve the right to select an alternative winner or deal with the prize as set out on the Competition page.

7. Prizes

7.1 The prize for each Competition is as described on the Competition page. No cash alternative is available unless specifically stated.

7.2 We will aim to deliver physical prizes within 5 working days after confirming the winner’s details. Delivery times and methods may vary based on the prize and the winner’s location within the UK.

7.3 Where the prize is cash, we will usually pay this by bank transfer (BACS) to a UK bank account in the winner’s name within 48hrs

7.4 If a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

8. Cancellations, Refunds & Returns

8.1 Competition Entries

8.1.1 Once you have purchased an entry to a Competition and the Competition has opened, your entry is generally non-refundable, as it forms part of an ongoing prize Competition.

8.1.2 However, you may be entitled to a refund if:

• we cancel the Competition entirely and do not run a replacement Competition; or
• we make a significant change to the Competition that materially disadvantages you and you contact us to request a refund before the draw takes place.

8.1.3 If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us at sarah@borderbellesbonanza.co.uk with your order details.

8.2 Physical Products (if applicable)

8.2.1 If, in future, we sell physical products (e.g. merchandise) via the Site, separate returns and cancellation terms will be set out on the relevant product page and/or in these Terms.

9. Your Responsibilities

9.1 You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and/or making a purchase, including your contact details.

9.2 You are responsible for keeping your account login details secure and for any activity that takes place under your account.

9.3 You must not:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to interfere with or damage the Site or its security; or
• attempt to manipulate or interfere with the fairness of any Competition.

10. Our Liability

10.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
• any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

10.2 Subject to the above, we will not be liable for:

• any indirect or consequential loss or damage;
• any loss of profit, business or opportunity;
• any failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

10.3 Our total liability to you in connection with any Competition or use of the Site will be limited to the total amount you have paid to us for entries into that Competition.

11. Changes to These Terms

11.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on the Site and update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.

11.2 By continuing to use the Site or enter Competitions after any changes, you agree to the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

12.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or any Competition, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with these Terms or any Competition.
